Immigrating from Odessa to Mandatory Palestine in 1919, Frenkel Frenel was not only present in the historical and cultural revolutions, but recorded and influenced it as well. From building art schools in Israel, to exhibiting in Paris and bringing French influence to future pioneering artists to taking portraits of iconic Israeli figures, Frenel imprinted history into art and art into history.
